"Pelvic floor disorders can dramatically affect a woman's quality of life but can be difficult for women to talk about. I strive to provide patients with compassionate care and a comfortable environment to discuss their problems and develop a care plan that is tailored to their specific needs." Dr. Deveneau earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Medical College of Wisconsin. In 2015, Dr. Deveneau completed a fellowship in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery at the University of Louisville. She is board certified and a Fellow in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Her patient-focus care includes prolapse, urinary and fecal incontinence, overactive bladder, prolapse, vaginal and bladder pain, painful intercourse, vulvar disorders, vaginal reconstruction, and minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Deveneau's training has been uniquely diverse, enabling her to offer vaginal, laparoscopic, and robotic surgical approaches so that each procedure can be tailored to the patient's needs and preferences. She works closely with other pelvic pain specialists, pelvic floor physical therapists, and colorectal surgeons to provide integrated care.
