Venelin Kounev, MD

Dr. Venelin Kounev completed his medical degree at the Medical University of Sofia in Sofia, Bulgaria in 1996. He completed an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Medical College of Wisconsin Affiliated Hospitals in Milwaukee, followed by a fellowship in Gastroenterology in 2007. Dr. Kounev is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology and has worked as a Gastroenterologist in Milwaukee since 2008. He is dedicated to providing high-quality care and specializes in diagnosing and treating a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions.
