Krista Shorey, APNP, is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner in Family Medicine who specializes in Women’s Health. She graduated from Carson Newman University with a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing. She then earned her Master's of Science in Nursing from Ohio University. She evaluates and manages various urologic and gynecologic conditions including overactive bladder, urinary and fecal incontinence, recurrent urinary tract infections, bladder pain, pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic floor dysfunction and genitourinary syndrome of menopause. Some of the conditions related to pelvic floor dysfunction can be embarrassing and difficult for patients to discuss. Krista's goals are to establish a trusting rapport with her patients where they feel comfortable discussing their concerns, and to provide patients with education on their conditions and all the treatment options available.
